A brand-new trio is making their Palace debut!

Join us Friday, September 18 for Downtown After Dark with the BRB Trio—three accomplished jazz musicians bringing an evening of live jazz to downtown Rockford.

The trio features pianist and band director Chris Behrens, who earned his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Illinois; bassist Crystal Rebone, Orchestra Director at Beloit Memorial High School with a Doctorate in Jazz Performance from the University of Illinois; and saxophonist Jim Buennig, who holds a Doctorate in Jazz Performance from the University of Iowa.

Together, they’re bringing serious talent, great chemistry, and plenty of jazz to the Palace stage for the first time.
